Dentist Waldorf First Visit

The Manato Family Dentistry, LLC is committed to providing you and your family with safe, truly personalized care with high quality dental care. We understand that you or your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to your needs and it is our goal to make you feel comfortable visiting our practice, while providing you with the best care possible.

Your First Visit Is All About You-- Your Comfort, Your Happiness, And Your Health.

When you arrive for your first visit, please be prepared to complete health and insurance information forms before we begin your dental treatment. If you wish to expedite your visit, click on the FORMS tab to download these forms and fax them to us in advance. If you are unable to fill out the FORMS in advance, please try to arrive at least 15 minutes early to take care of the paperworks.

During your first visit, we will:

  • Review your dental and medical history forms.
  • Take x-rays and intraoral photographs of your teeth and mouth.
  • Do a comprehensive examination of your head and neck area, oral cancer screening, check your TMJ, bite, examine your teeth for cavities and check your gums for signs of gum disease.

After your examination is complete, the doctor will help you create your own individual treatment plan, and answer any questions that you may have. In most cases, we will also clean your teeth during the first visit and give oral hygiene instructions to help you care for your own teeth. Your initial examination will last approximately 40 minutes to one hour.

Bring Your Smile, But Also Remember To Bring These With You On Your First Dental Appointment:

  • Your completed Patient Information Form
  • Your Insurance Card

A Regular Dental Checkup Is An Important Part Of Maintaining A Healthy SMILE!

The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends visiting your dentist every six months for regular checkups and a routine teeth cleaning to keep your teeth and gums healthy.

We understand that you have a busy schedule, so when you're preparing to visit the dentist, please remember that your dental appointments can last between 40 and 60 minutes.
